Salmaan has acted as lead advisor across a range of international transactions for over 15 years originating, implementing and successfully completing M&A and investment opportunities involving companies across North America, Far East, Europe, Middle East, Pakistan, India and Africa.
He has advised corporates, private equity firms, sovereign wealth funds and high net worth individuals across various sectors on complex buy-side and sell-side mandates.
Salmaan was previously seconded to the UK M&A Regulator, The Takeover Panel, for two years where he worked on several high-profile M&A transactions. He was also a member of the ICAEW UK’s Corporate Finance Faculty’s takeovers working committee and was consulted regularly on M&A policy matters. He now sits on the ICAEW Middle East Corporate Finance Faculty.
He led the UK listed company M&A practice and was also responsible for corporate finance transactions involving the Far East & the UK. Additionally, Salmaan was approved by the London Stock Exchange to act as an authorised Nominated Adviser (Nomad) for IPOs.
Salmaan is responsible for the strategy and growth of the M&A and Transactions Advisory team across the region and oversees corporate finance transactions involving acquisitions, valuations, fundraisings (debt and equity), IPOs, due diligence, financial modelling and infrastructure advisory.
