Mohamed is a Partner in Grant Thornton, He joined Grant Thornton UAE in 2012 from Grant Thornton Egypt where he spent over 7 years working across multiple lines of service. Mohamed has significant experience gained by leading several audit engagements spanning various sectors.
Mohamed has over 17 years of professional experience and has been instrumental in providing professional services to organisation's operating within an international capacity and in the Middle East.
He has extensive experience of International Financial Reporting Standards “IFRS” & International Public Sector Accounting Standard “IPSAS” and has also worked on COSO Compliance & Internal Control Over Financial Reporting engagements and in a number of financial due diligence exercises.
Mohamed has been instrumental in building up GT public sector presence and profile in Abu Dhabi including ranking as no. 3 in the list of ADAA approved auditors. He always leads impeccable presentations in Arabic to very senior Emiratis.
Also, Mohamed has worked with several service lines such as working with the advisory team in the Ministry of Finance project as an IPSAS expert, and he rendered high quality services.
Also, his collaboration with the advisory team with regard of ICFR and COSO opportunities /engagements and the cross selling between both team.
