Hassan has over 15 years of experience across Asia and the Middle East region in Audit, Accounting and Advisory. He has a broad exposure in sectors such as Construction and Real Estate, Manufacturing and Trading, Financial Services and Energy and Resources.
Hassan has been working with listed entities, large family-owned conglomerates, foreign reporting clients (including PCAOB reporting) and other key engagements of the firm in UAE. While he previously worked at Grant Thornton Pakistan, Hassan supervised external audits of financial services and leasing companies and developed internal audit plans for several industries. Hassan has experience working closely with clients to implement the newly introduced IFRS, such as IFRS 9, IFRS 15 and IFRS 16. He is also managing portfolio reporting under US GAAP and serves as engagement director for PCAOB clients in the region.
Hassan has vast experience working within Real Estate, Construction industries, Manufacturing, Hospitality, Education, Financial Services, Trading and Distribution business and sees problems from his clients’ point of views. He also looks at problems from a business mindset, not simply from an audit perspective which enables him to give both business and compliance advice and solutions.
