Hassan Fadda

Hassan Fadda brings over 20 years of extensive experience in tax advisory and compliance, having worked across various industries including airlines, retail and wholesale, banking, insurance, telecommunications, and real estate, with deep expertise in the UAE, Canadian, Lebanese, and Middle Eastern tax systems.

Prior to joining Grant Thornton UAE, Hassan was a Director of Corporate and Domestic Tax at KPMG Lower Gulf, where he was responsible for conducting and supervision corporate tax impact assessments,  facilitating corporate tax training sessions for mainland and free zones companies in the UAE, providing corporate tax provisioning services , corporate tax advisory services relating to implementation and application of the corporate tax law, and overseeing the automation of corporate tax compliance processes. 

Hassan had also served as Tax Director at EY in Beirut, where he designed, recommended, and implemented effective tax planning strategies to maximize tax savings at the corporate and transaction level within the frame of the tax laws and legislation. He had also coordinated and reviewed tax due diligence assignments in the Middle East region.

Hassan holds Postgraduate Diploma in Money and Banking, a Bachelor’ Degree in Accounting from BAU University & Alexandria University and a Diploma in UAE Corporate Tax. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the State of Illinois, USA, a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), and a Chartered Accountant (CA) from Ontario, Canada.
