Gouban brings over 12 years of business consulting and technology transformation experience in the financial services sector across Australia, the UK, and the Middle East regions.
He was recently responsible for bringing a new digital experience and product to market for the launch of a neo bank. He also led the design of the UK's first cloud-based digital mortgage intermediary platform for a global retail bank.
Furthermore, Gouban was seconded from the UK to the Middle East to lead the migration strategy for 1.2 million retail banking customers, one of the largest post-merger integrations of two banks in Saudi Arabia. Gouban has been recognized as a talent for complex project delivery involving cross-functional teams, complex transformation, and enterprise program governance.
Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Gouban worked for Accenture in London, UK, and Dubai, UAE, where he held several key roles. He also worked for one of the leading Retail and Commercial banks in Australia.
Gouban holds a Bachelor’s of Business in International Business from Royal Melbourne University of Technology in Australia. He has also completed an Executive Leadership Program from the University of Oxford in the UK.
